Recap: Members of the 2011 Boston Bruins watched Game 7 of the Cup Final together on Zoom

Nine years after clinching the Stanley Cup in Vancouver, the 2010-11 Bruins came together last night for a zoom call that was aired live on YouTube. I don’t know what the marketing/P.R. team was thinking but holy fuck this was some of the best entertainment I’ve watched since quarantine began. The call lasted about 2 1/2 hours, some guys were a lot more talkative than other but overall it was a great look at the chemistry the team had. Drinks were had but that just enhanced the chirps and memories that were tossed around.

19 guys came together including Tim Thomas, Zdeno Chara, Tyler Seguin, Milan Lucic, Michael Ryder, Patrice Bergeron and many more. You can watch the full video below or read this for some of the hilarious chirps and moments that we pulled from the night.

andrew ference: “marchy what’s the discount code for hunting trips with you and… whoever the other guy is”

“Bergy, how many more (tattoos) do you got?” Marchand: “He’s just trying to cover up his body going to shit.”

Marchand: “Campbell looks high as fuck.

Marchand: “You’re going bald there, bud.” Gregory Campbell: “I’m going bald? Your fucking forehead starts fucking eight inches back from your fucking eyes.

campbell: “you know i missed you guys. i miss being with guys i like. I like you guys, sorry. is that a problem?”

A bunch of hockey guys getting progressively hammered, what could go wrong? The call was absolutely unreal, we need more teams to do this although i’m sure now they will put some limits on alcohol consumption. For a full thread of clips from the entire evening, you can watch below.

P.S: I’m not a Bruins fan but the content from this call was amazing and I miss hockey season.
